Walking with the Cross
Squires can re-enact the
scenes of the cross using a
form of art known as
tableau, while prayers of
reflection are read. It is a
wonderful opportunity for
squires to understand better
the sacrifice the Lord made
for us. Please take the time
to look at the event, and
incorporate it into your
circle's agenda. Just click
on Walking with the Cross to
see the program.

The name for this committee is based on the World Youth Day 2008
theme: You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you;
and you will be my witness (Acts 1:8). The role of this committee is
similar to that of the Christian Unity Committee of past years;
leading prayers when needed, organizing Mass and other liturgical
celebrations and motivating Squires to participate in events in their
own communities such as Light Up for Christ and the stations of the
Cross.
This year there will be a focus on Squires being Christ's witnesses
through World Youth Day 2008 and other events that involve
putting one's faith into action. The "S" at the top wing of our logo,
meaning "Spiritual", demonstrates just how crucial it is for us to have
spirituality and to centre our lives around Christ.
